Add a little spark to your outdoor entertainment areas with our fabulous Earthfire Ceramic Fire Pit.
Handmade from durable, thermal shock-proof NilTherm™ with a beautiful hard-wearing, glazed surface both inside and out. The ceramic fire pit body stores heat like a hot rock and radiates a comforting warmth even after the fire has burnt out.
As all Earthfire fire pits are handmade no two ceramic bowls are exactly the same giving each fire pit it's own unique signature.
A closed, two-piece ash container makes it clean and safe to use on a wooden deck. The ash container and stand are powder-coated to provide a long-lasting and elegant finish that will make the fire pit look as good in ten years as it does when you first use it.
And when all that relaxing makes you wonder what's for dinner, the handy stainless steel cooking grid offers at least one suggestion! Warmth, comfort and delicous home cooking all in one.
The metallic black glaze used on the inside of the fire pit colours beautifully with every fire. The direct flames cause unique copper/bronze patterns to form, imprinting the fire pit with the history of happy evenings. After cleaning the ash out the patterns will be very bright. The high-fired glaze finish is very strong and you can use a kitchen scourer to remove any food drippings or wood resin to keep your fire pit looking good.

The thermal properties of Earthfire's proprietary Niltherm ceramic make it ideal for manufacturing this fire pit, The thermal shock proof ceramic recipe took founder, Alex Kielczynski, many years to perfect. This specific ceramic does not expand or contract when heated, making it impervious to thermal shock and uneven heating. The Thermal properties of Niltherm also make the fire pit act like a heat battery that retains and radiates heat long after the fire has gone out.
Each fire pit is handmade on a spinning mold, (JiggerJolly) forming the ceramic to shape using a hand operated former. After a drying period the fire pit is turned out of the mold and finished by hand. The glaze is applied by an experienced operator before firing to a very high temperature for the finished look.
Cleaning the fire pit during use, only requires the ash to be brushed through the central air vent at the bottom of the fire pit bowl and into the enclosed ash container . The bowl can be scrubbed with propritary cleaners and a light oiling of the internal glaze with vegetable oil will bring out the beautiful copper and bronze colours generated when the fire pit was lit for the first time..
